Joining Video Calls
To join a video call, you'll need a few different things:

1
A device that can connect to the Internet (like the phone you're holding!)

2
A microphone, so the others in the call can hear you talk. Most devices have built-in microphones already. You can also connect an external microphone.

3
A speaker, so you can hear others talk. Most devices have speakers built-in already. You can also connect an external speaker.

4
A camera, so others can see you. Most devices have cameras built-in already. You can also connect an external camera.

Once you have all 4 of the previous things, you're ready to join!
But where and how do you join?

If you're using Whatsapp or Facetime
Someone can video call you as long as they have your phone number. When you hear the phone ringing, just tap "Accept" on your screen.

If you're using Google Meet or Zoom
Whoever invited you to the call should have sent you a join link. Tap that link and access the video call. If you don't have a join link, contact whoever invited you.

Tip
Make sure to confirm the date and time of your video call, especially if you're speaking with someone in another time zone.

Tip
If it's your first time using a video calling app like Zoom or WhatsApp, the app might ask permission to use your camera or your microphone. If a message asking this permission pops up, simply tap "Accept" or "OK".
