Password Creation

Today we’ll focus on the creating a password.

You will need a password for many of the things you will do on the internet and it provides security.

Websites will often ask you for a username and password.

When creating a password make sure to do these things:

  • Have something to copy your password in case you forget it
  • Do not use the same password twice
  • At least 8 characters

When creating a password make sure to do these things:

  • Use a mixture of both uppercase and lowercase
  • Use a mixture of letters and numbers
  • Include at least one special character [e.g., ! @ # ? ]
  • Do NOT use your name or easy to discover phases
